Drones are one of the technological marvels of our age. They are easy to make, cheap to buy, simple to fly, and hard to detect, commercially available drones are one of the most quickly evolving technological threats to military and civilian interests. This creates new opportunities, but also poses new threats that are usually underestimated.
Drones nowadays have the capacity to collect sensitive data, carry explosives, drugs, weapons, mobile phones, chemical bombs, drugs, jammers, etc. and challenge the security systems. The affordability and availability of drones are also prompting some serious legal, financial and practical questions.
To mitigate the negative impact of drones on our society, there is a need for both detection of drones and action to secure the airspace.
ArbitorShield™ is a lighter version of Arbitor™, specialising in 3rd party devices for a portable or fixed drone (UAV) detection and counter measure signals surveillance solution.
ArbitorShield™ platform makes drone detection smooth, it initiate actions after the drone has been detected. The platform requires little or no human intervention to detect, revalidate, alert the presence of drones. ArbitorShield™ is a leading edge, command & control platform, specializing in drone detection capabilities and full airport security surveillance, improving alarm detection rates, audit, compliance, overall transparency and labor savings in the control center.
The platform is agnostic to all 3rd party devices (e.g. VMS, fencing sensors, radars, and multiple access control systems) and sits on top of them all. Specific to Drone Detection there is no one device or OEM that can detect all drones. Our platform allows integration of multiple drone detection sensors to achieve leading edge results. The platform is Australian owned and designed, with in country support and training. Arbitor™ is architecturally designed and viewed in modules, displaying various sub-system graphics, linked to “rules based” workflows, which are personalised site specific. All 3rd party devices are configured for autonomous revalidation of alarms or events, that are then displayed within the site map module. Live view, playback, reporting and video walls all form part of the drone detection framework.
